Gladwin County Warrant Records Gladwin County Warrant Records

A warrant question in Gladwin County rarely has one answer. The office that issues a warrant is not always the office that serves it, and the office that serves it is not always the office that keeps the file. This site gathers those routes in one place: the 80th District Court, the 55th Circuit Court, the Gladwin County Clerk, and the Gladwin County Sheriff's Office. It is a private reference site, not a government service. What it can do is save you a wrong turn and a few phone calls.

Why We Built This Site

Gladwin County holds about 25,386 people across two cities and 15 townships, and nearly every criminal case in that territory starts at the same address. The 80th District Court takes the initial complaint, the first appearance, and the warrant request for the City of Gladwin, the City of Beaverton, and the townships alike. Neither city runs its own municipal court. That single front door is the fact most people miss when they start calling around.

Past the first appearance, the path splits. A misdemeanor stays in District Court. A felony can move up to the 55th Circuit Court once a judge finds probable cause at a preliminary examination. A bench warrant for a missed date stays with the court that set the case in the first place. Meanwhile the Gladwin County Sheriff's Office is the agency that serves the warrant, and the Gladwin County Clerk keeps the circuit court file. Four offices, four counters, one warrant.

The county also has no city court to sort through. The 80th District Court states that it is the initial court for any City of Gladwin or City of Beaverton matter, whether that matter is a civil infraction, a misdemeanor, or a felony. Both city police departments investigate and arrest, and both cities' tickets and charges land in the same courthouse on West Cedar Avenue. That routing surprises people who expect their own city to hold the case.

We built this site to shorten that search. Every page names an office that exists, at an address that exists, with the counter or the extension that handles the question.

What You Will Find Here

The site walks through the warrant process the way a Gladwin County resident actually meets it, from the first search to the last court date:

  • Warrant lookups: how to run a warrant search by name and date of birth through the courts and the sheriff's office
  • Outstanding warrants: what an active status means here and why the county publishes no public roster
  • Missed court dates: how bench warrants arise from the 80th District Court docket
  • Arrest warrants: the complaint and probable cause route from a police report to a judge's signature on an arrest warrant
  • Traffic cases: unpaid tickets and missed traffic dates, explained in court-record terms rather than driving-record terms
  • City matters: how Gladwin and Beaverton cases reach the same District Court
  • Most wanted: what the county publishes, what it does not, and how to send a tip

Two city pages cover Gladwin and Beaverton on their own. Each one names the local police department, the route into the county court system, and how a resident of that city checks and resolves a warrant.

What We Cannot Do

We are not a court, a clerk's office, or a sheriff's office. Nothing on this site is an official record, and no page here can confirm that a warrant exists or that one has been cleared.

  • We cannot check a name against any law enforcement system
  • We cannot recall, quash, or clear a warrant for anyone
  • We cannot post bond, arrange a surrender, or speak to a judge on your behalf
  • We cannot tell you what a charge, a bond amount, or a court date means for your case

Only the court that issued the warrant or the sheriff's office that serves it can confirm whether it is still active. Ask them directly, and ask for the answer in writing if you need a record of it.

Search Partners

Some pages on this site carry a search box supplied by an outside company. Those companies run their own services and set their own prices. If a search leads you to a paid signup, this site may earn a referral fee, and that revenue is what keeps the pages free to read.

We do not control what those tools charge, what they return, or how they handle the name you type in. Their results are not an official warrant check. Use them as a starting point, then confirm anything that matters with the Gladwin County Clerk or the sheriff's office.
